Sales Associate

Location: Remote / Florida-based preferred

Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our advertising and partnerships team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with healthcare industry advertisers, medical device companies, pharmaceutical brands, and healthcare service providers who want to reach Florida’s physician audience.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new advertising accounts across digital, print, and sponsored content channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and renewal rates
  • Present advertising solutions and media kits to prospective clients via phone, video, and in-person meetings
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to develop compelling sponsored content opportunities
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Track and manage your pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular reporting to management
  • Attend healthcare industry conferences and events to represent Florida Doctor Magazine

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in media, publishing, or healthcare
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry in Florida is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation

Sales Manager

Location: Remote / Florida-based preferred

Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our advertising revenue operations. You will oversee the sales team, develop strategic partnerships with major healthcare brands, and drive the overall revenue strategy for Florida Doctor Magazine’s multi-channel advertising platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team revenue goals
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across digital advertising, sponsored content, email campaigns, and event partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with key enterprise accounts, including hospital systems, medical associations, and national healthcare brands
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and industry data to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Create and refine sales processes, pricing structures, and media packages
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and design teams to create integrated advertising solutions
  • Provide regular revenue forecasts and performance reports to executive leadership
  • Represent Florida Doctor Magazine at major healthcare industry events and conferences

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in media, publishing, or healthcare sales
  • Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and developing sales talent
  • Deep understanding of digital advertising, content marketing, and media sales
  • Established network in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is highly valued
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Compensation
